Seals for Real started off as an idea to film the Cape fur seals of Seal Rock in False Bay, South Africa, interacting with a diver, which happened to be my daughter Veerle... I had been there before , so I knew what to expect. I got my footage and once I edited a 5 minute clip. I did some research for the narration, only to find out there was another story to the seals! I felt I could not leave this clip as it was, so I re-edited and the result is showing here. The movie goes around at festivals, and does attract attention. It has just been invited to screen at the www.ocenfilmfest.org in San Francisco.
