Film and photography entries are now being accepted for the 2008 British Underwater Image Festival (BUIF). Following on from two hugely successful years, the third British Underwater Image Festival returns to the Go Diving! show at the Birmingham NEC on 14 to 16 March 2008.
More than £10,000 worth of prizes are available to the winners in each of the competition's nine categories. The finalists of the 2008 Festival will be displayed at the three-day Go Diving! show, which is part of the Outdoors Show (www.theoutdoorsshow.co.uk). ... [mehr] |

4th EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN
INTERNATIONAL UNDERWATER FILM AND PHOTOGRAPY FESTIVAL contains underwater
photography and film competitions, film showings, photography demonstrations,
and children drawing competitions in Eastern Mediterranean University halls. 10th EUIFA
meeting also held at the same place and time.

Ende dieses Jahres findet zum ersten Mal das North Sea Film Festival in den Niederlanden statt.
Dieses Ereignis erlebt seine Premiere am Wochenende des 30 Nov, 1 und 2 Dezemeber 2007 im Museum in Den Haag, NL. In Anlehnung anderer erfolgreicher Unterwasserfilmfestspiele, so wie in Belgrad, San Franzisko, Antibes, Moskau etc. holt der bekannte Unterwasserfilmer Ed Snijders die Unterwasserwelt nach Holland. Er ist davon überzeugt, dass diese Filme Taucher als auch Naturliebhaber begeistern werden. Das North Sea Film Festival ist in zwei Gruppen unterteilt:
· Gruppe A ist für beruflich/professionale Filmbüros vorgesehen. Diese Filme haben eine maximale Dauer von 60 Minuten und sollten minimal zu 60% unterwasser aufgenommen sein
.· Gruppe B ist für freie, nichtgebundene Filmer. Die hier gezeigten Filme haben eine Dauer von 20 Minuten und sind zu 75% unterwasser aufgenommen. ... [mehr] |
